2009 Lisa Wilson Scholarship Awards

On October 29th October, 5 new recipients were awarded bursaries from The Lisa Wilson Scholarship Fund.
The five recipients were; Michael George Brough, Charlotte Clark, Lilian Namaata, Hayley Sanders, and Charlotte Weddle-Hoyle.  Their awards were presented at a ceremony at Southampton Solent University which was presided over by Professor Jane Longmore.

New bursary recipients for 2008

On October 27th at a ceremony at Southampton Solent University this year’s intake of bursary recipients were presented with their cheques by Clive and Tricia Wilson.  This puts the number of students who have benefitted from the awards up to 35.  The ceremony was attended by 40 people including parents, tutors, staff, and many others. Varsity football match raises £770

A dissapointing crowd at the home of Eastleigh Football Club saw Southampton Solent University run out winners against Southampton University to win the Lisa Wilson Varsity cup. Former Saint Nicky Banger presented the trophy to the winning captain.
